Ayodhya land dispute case: Mediation panel submits report to Supreme Court
Thursday, 1 August 2019 The mediation panel on the Ram Janmabhoomi-Babri Masjid land dispute on Thursday submitted its report in a sealed cover to the Supreme Court. A Constitution bench, headed by Chief Justice Ranjan Gogoi had directed the panel headed by retired apex court judge FMI Kalifulla, to continue with the mediation process and submit a progress report till July 31.
On August 2, the Supreme Court will look at the results of the entire process. In case, the negotiations failed to make any progress, SC may resume hearings, possibly daily, against the Allahabad High Court order.
