Manmohan Singh likely to turn down Pakistan invite to Kartarpur

Pakistan announced on Monday that it has decided to invite Singh. In a video statement, Pakistani foreign minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi said his country has decided to invite Singh after consultations with all stakeholders. β€œWe have decided after consultation that we want to invite former Indian PM Manmohan Singh to the Kartarpur Corridor inauguration. Sikhism is Singh’s religion and he is a representative of the Sikh community,” Qureshi said.
