Governor acted hastily on BJP prod: Shiv Sena in SC

Sena is readying a second petition, likely to be filed in the SC on Wednesday, challenging the imposition of President’s rule, reports Dhananjay Mahapatra. Tuesday’s petition, which appears to be backed by NCP and Congress, accuses governor B S Koshyari of acting in collusion with the BJP-led NDA government at the Centre to give Sena just 24 hours while earlier giving BJP 48 hours to explore the possibility of forming a government.
