General MM Naravane takes over as 28th Chief of Indian Army

General Manoj Mukund Naravane has taken over as the 28th Chief of Indian Army in the post-independence era on Tuesday. He replaced General Bipin Rawat whose three-year term as Army chief ended on the last day of 2019.
