With France’s top honour, another feather in Modi cap

PM Narendra Modi was conferred with the Grand Cross of the Legion of Honour, France’s highest award, on Thursday by French President Emmanuel Macron at the Elysee Palace. Modi thanked Macron for this singular honour on behalf of the people of India, said the government in a statement. Modi will become the first Indian PM to receive this honour.
