PM Modi likely to lay foundation stone for redevelopment of 500 stations next week

Prime Minister Narendra Modi would in a single day next week lay the foundation stones for redevelopment of around 500 railway stations. These stations will be redeveloped under the ‘Amrit Bharat Station Scheme”, entailing an investment of nearly Rs 20,000 crore. TOI has learnt that some of the stations for which the PM will lay the foundation stone include Prayagraj, Vijaynagaram, Delhi Cantonment, Narela (Delhi) and Aurangabad.
