Lok Sabha passes Inter-Services Organisations Bill, Congress’s Manish Tewari objects to its quick passage
Congress MP from Anandpur Sahib Manish Tewari, who is also the party national spokesperson, has expressed concern over the passage of the Inter-Services Organisations (Command, Control and Discipline) Bill, 2023 in the House "with such a perfunctory discussion". He said the passage of the crucial bill required more discussion. Earlier, defence minister Rajnath Singh, while presenting the bill, requested Rajendra Agrawal, who was presiding over the House proceedings, whether he could move back as it was not possible for him to speak in so much noise.
