Bulldozers raze 150 shanties, 5 houses in Nuh in 24 hours over ‘riot links’
Friday, 4 August 2023 Around 150 migrant families saw their shanties razed on Thursday as the government sent bulldozers to a slum cluster in Tauru, with officials claiming some of its residents were found to be involved in rioting in the communal clashes of July 31.
A bus fire on Haryana's KMP Expressway near Nuh killed nearly ten passengers and injured several others early Saturday. The bus, carrying about 60 people from Vrindavan, caught fire after passengers noticed a burning smell. Quick deboarding saved many, but the fire engulfed the bus rapidly. Survivors are receiving treatment, and an investigation is underway.
