Congress slams Nehru memorial name change

The Nehru Memorial Museum and Library has been officially renamed as the Prime Ministers’ Museum and Library Society, bringing criticism from Congress who alleged that Prime Minister Modi has made a single point agenda of “denying”, “distorting”, “defaming” and “destroying” the Nehruvian legacy. The Congress general secretary described the renaming as “pettiness and peeve” but added that Nehru’s legacy will continue to inspire future generations.
