Some NCP leaders joined hands with BJP as they were threatened by 'agencies', says Sharad Pawar
Sunday, 20 August 2023 Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) supremo Sharad Pawar has said that party leaders who switched sides to Ajit Pawar faction, were being probed by the Enforcement Directorate. "Recently some of our people joined the government saying that they joined hands with the BJP on the issue of development. Some of them were under ED investigation, some of them did not want to face investigation," Sharad Pawar said.
In an exclusive interview with Oneindia's Pankaj Mishra, BJP Lok Sabha candidate Ujjwal Nikam shared his thoughts on the recent split within the Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) and Shiv Sena. Nikam stated, "The split we are witnessing in the NCP and Shiv Sena was inevitable and bound to happen from within these parties. The underlying differences and power struggles have finally come to the fore, leading to these factions."
