Gujarat man poses as Isro scientist who designed Chandrayaan-3's lander module; held
Tuesday, 29 August 2023 A man in Surat, Gujarat, was arrested for impersonating an Indian Space Research Organisation (Isro) scientist and claiming to have designed the lander module for the Chandrayaan-3 moon mission. The accused, Mitul Trivedi, posed as an assistant chairman of Isro's Ancient Science Application department and produced fake documents to support his claims. The police have filed a case against him for cheating, forgery, and using forged documents as genuine.
