'PM should say something': Rahul Gandhi after China releases map with Indian territories
Wednesday, 30 August 2023 Congress leader Rahul Gandhi on Wednesday demanded Prime Minister Narendra Modi's statement after China released a “standard” map of the country which showed Arunachal Pradesh and Aksai Chin as part of its territory. Rahul Gandhi once again alleged that the Prime Minister's assertion that not an inch of the land in Ladakh has been taken over by China is not true adding that the map issue was very serious.

Polling in 102 parliamentary seats across 21 states and Union Territories in the first phase of Lok Sabha Elections commenced at 7 am on April 19 and ended at 6 pm. Over 102 parliamentary constituencies in 21 states and union territories headed to the polling booth on Friday, including Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Bihar, Chhattisgarh, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Manipur, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland, Rajasthan, Sikkim, Tamil Nadu, Tripura, Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, West Bengal, Jammu and Kashmir, Puducherry, Lakshadweep, and Andaman and Nicobar Islands. West Bengal recorded the highest turnout till 5 PM at 77.57 per cent, followed by Tripura at 76.10 per cent. Voter turnout in Assam stood at 70.77 per cent, while Manipur recorded a voter turnout of 68.58 per cent till 5 PM.
