Saturday, 23 September 2023
The Supreme Court of India has instructed the Union government to develop a protocol for managing dead bodies in both disaster and non-disaster situations. This directive came after a reminder about an incident in a Delhi mortuary during the pandemic where there was a mix-up, resulting in a Hindu individual cremating two bodies, including that of a Christian man's mother.
