The Supreme Court of India has declined to entertain a plea by the Shri Krishna Janmabhoomi Mukti Nirman Trust, which sought a scientific survey of the Shahi Idgah mosque-Krishna Janmabhoomi site in Mathura. The court suggested that the matter could be decided by the Allahabad High Court, which had transferred all related cases from the civil court to itself for adjudication.
