Onion farmers in Nashik are struggling to sell their produce due to a boycott of auctions by traders. The farmers have a stock of summer onions but are unable to sell them, leading to financial difficulties. The Maharashtra State Onion Growers' Association is urging the government to direct the National Cooperative Consumers' Federation of India Limited and National Agricultural Cooperative Marketing Federation of India Ltd to procure onions from farmers until the strike is called off.
