Tirupati: Despite 3-tier security, TTD bus stolen by thieves, later found
Monday, 25 September 2023 In a major security lapse, an electric bus operated by the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) was stolen from Tirumala. The bus, which was parked at a charging station, went missing the next morning. Despite the bus having a GPS tracking system and the presence of security personnel at toll gates, the thieves managed to steal it. The stolen bus was later found abandoned nearly 90 km away. Police are now searching for the culprits.
