OBC income ceiling revision stuck for 6 years

The Indian government has not yet revised the income ceiling for the "creamy layer" of Other Backward Classes (OBC) reservations, which was due for an increase in 2020. The "creamy layer" refers to households that exceed the income bar and are considered economically better off, making them ineligible for OBC reservations.
