Death threats: Shah Rukh Khan will have to pay for Y+ security
Monday, 9 October 2023 Actor Shah Rukh Khan's security has been upgraded to Y-plus category, with six personal security officers and five armed guards at his residence. The state home department issued a letter stating that the upgrade was due to recent threats to the actor. The security upgrade has been done by the government as the review committee responsible for providing police protection to celebrities has been busy with monitoring the law-and-order situation during the festival season. Shah Rukh will have to pay for the police security until the review committee takes a decision on his protection.
