Jews in Thane hold special prayer for war-hit Israel
Friday, 13 October 2023 The Jewish community in Thane, India, has started special prayer sessions at their homes for the peace and safety of their brethren in Israel. They have chosen to abstain from public reactions and instead focus on praying for peace and tranquility. The community held a special prayer session with around 30 members at the lone synagogue in Thane, offering prayers and showing appreciation for soldiers fighting for their country. The community feels safe in Thane and has received support from their non-Jewish friends.
