NDA cadet succumbs to head injury

A cadet from the National Defence Academy (NDA) in Pune has passed away due to a head injury sustained during a boxing championship bout. The academy has launched an inquiry to determine the cause of the incident and assess safety measures during such events. The cadet, Pratham Mahale, had been involved in boxing for two years and joined the NDA in April 2021. The academy expressed condolences to the cadet's family.
