The Noida International Airport (NIA) and aviation hub in Uttar Pradesh, India, will be expanded by 1,200 hectares, bringing the total area to over 7,750 hectares. The expansion will make NIA the third-largest airport globally. The additional land will be used for the aviation hub's expansion, focusing on attracting international companies involved in aircraft and spare parts manufacturing. The land acquisition process will begin in the next one-and-a-half months. The government is also working on policies to attract aircraft parts manufacturers and establish a dedicated policy for the aviation industry.
