Former Wrestling Federation of India chief and BJP MP Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh has requested a Delhi court to dismiss the sexual harassment case filed against him by six female wrestlers. Singh's lawyer argued that there were contradictions in the statements of the prosecution witnesses and that the Oversight Committee did not recommend the registration of an FIR within the required time frame. The defence counsel also claimed that there were material contradictions in the statements of the witnesses, calling for Singh's discharge from the case.
