Madla, a small forest village near the Panna Tiger Reserve in India, has been recognized as one of the 'Best Tourist Villages' in the world for 2023 by the United Nations World Tourism Organization. The village offers homestays run by local tribals, providing visitors with a taste of Bundelkhandi cuisine and a glimpse of folk music and dance. The village's architecture, traditional games, and paintings reflect the local culture and art. Madla was selected in the 'best upgrade' category for its preservation of cultural diversity and local values.
