Don't take drastic steps, Chief Minister Eknath Shinde appeals

Within hours of activist Manoj Jarange Patil reminding the government he had set an October 24 deadline for a quota to be announced for the Maratha community, failing which he would launch a hunger fast, CM Eknath Shinde Sunday appealed to activists not to take drastic steps such as ending their lives, reports Chaitanya Marpakwar. He was reacting to another suicide by a Nanded youth on Saturday night.
