SUV’s misfiring silencer sends Pune cops on wild chase

A misfiring SUV silencer on NIBM Road in Pune caused traffic wardens to mistake the sounds for gunfire shots, leading to a police chase. The SUV drove through a checkpost without stopping, further raising suspicion. However, it was later discovered that the vehicle was carrying five young individuals who were returning home from a party. The police managed to trace the SUV and detained the youths for questioning, but they were later released with a warning.
