19-year-old BIT-Mesra student hangs self in hostel

Late Thursday, a 19-year-old student at Birla Institute of Technology (BIT), Mesra, reportedly took his own life by hanging himself in his hostel room. The student, identified as Suman Saurav, was in Semester III and hailed from Jamshedpur, Jharkhand. A suicide note was found in his room, expressing gratitude to his parents for their support and saying that he couldn't do it anymore. According to his friends. Sourav was facing difficulties in coping up academically.
