Following multiple blasts in Kerala, police beef up security in Coimbatore

G Chandeesh, Deputy Commissioner of Police (North), Coimbatore city said that the city police have mobilised around 600 police personnel to various streets. “We have deployed police personnel at all the worship places in the city and created 100 temporary vehicle check points in the city. Our BDDS teams were also checking at the Coimbatore railway station and a few other places,” said Chandeesh.
