Monday, 30 October 2023 The Pune regional unit of the Directorate Revenue of Intelligence (DRI) has seized 107 liters of liquid mephedrone, valued at Rs 160 crore, from a pharma company in MIDC Paithan. The director and manager of the company have been arrested. The DRI conducted a search of the company's premises and found the liquid mephedrone, which had been hidden during a previous raid. This seizure comes just nine days after a joint operation by the DRI and Ahmedabad crime branch resulted in the seizure of narcotics worth over Rs 250 crore.
Police also arrested Naman Bhutada and Sachin Kaatkar, owner and staffer of a Pune pub, and Sandip Sangle, an assistant manager at another pub. They were charged.. IndiaTimes

A tragic incident in Pune has left two people dead after a 17-year-old, speeding in a Porsche, collided with a motorbike.
