MPs, MLAs across party lines threaten to quit

Multiple MLAs and MPs from various political parties in Maharashtra have threatened to resign if the state government doesn't announce reservations for the Maratha community. This includes Shiv Sena MP Hemant Patil and nine out of 11 members of an Ahmednagar panchayat. The resignation trend is gaining momentum, with politicians like NCP's Atul Benke and Congress's Suresh Warpurkar considering it, along with BJP's Laxman Pawar and Shiv Sena's Hemant Godse expressing their support for the cause.
