Telangana MP stabbed while campaigning, now stable

BRS Medak MP Kotha Prabhakar Reddy was stabbed while campaigning for the Telangana polls. The suspect, G Raju, approached the MP under the pretext of shaking hands and then stabbed him. Reddy was rushed to the hospital and underwent a three-hour operation. He is now stable. The attacker, who is suspected to be working for a local YouTube channel, was caught and beaten by BRS workers before being handed over to the police. The exact motive for the attack is still unknown.
