Rejecting opposition's charge, BJP says it's for Apple to clarify
The BJP has rejected the opposition's allegations against the government regarding Apple's warning of state-sponsored attackers targeting iPhones. BJP leader Ravi Shankar Prasad criticized the opposition for not taking up the issue with Apple directly and challenged them to file a criminal case. The party's IT department head, Amit Malviya, questioned Rahul Gandhi's motives and accused him of championing foreign agencies' sponsored stories. Apple has stated that some threat notifications may be false alarms. The government has ordered an investigation and requested Apple's cooperation.
