Tuesday, 31 October 2023 In a significant verdict, a special Pocso (Protection of Children from Sexual Offences) court in Mathura has sentenced a 35-year-old man to life imprisonment after a 30-day trial. The convict, Hukum, was found guilty of sexually assaulting a 12-year-old boy. The assault took place when Hukum lured the boy to his residence from school and sexually abused him in a cattle shed. Hukum faced charges under IPC section 377 and sections 5 and 6 of the Pocso Act.
