Fresh spate of attacks; security beefed up across Kashmir

Security has been increased in Kashmir following a series of terrorist attacks that killed a police officer and a non-local laborer. Security forces are conducting thorough checks on vehicles and individuals, while checkpoints have been set up in key areas. Police and paramilitary personnel have been deployed in sensitive locations, particularly around minority communities. The recent attacks have prompted a high-level meeting chaired by Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha.
