Days before Apple’s hacking ‘alert’, Govt cyber watchdog CERT-In also warned of ‘multiple vulnerabilities’ in Apple’s OS

IndiaTimes Wednesday, 1 November 2023
India's cyber watchdog, CERT-In, had previously warned Apple users of "multiple vulnerabilities" that could be exploited by attackers to access sensitive information, execute code, and bypass security restrictions. The vulnerabilities affected Apple's iOS operating systems, as well as certain versions of MacBook and Apple Watch. This comes after Apple sent out alerts to iPhone users, including opposition politicians, warning of potential hacks from "government-sponsored attackers." The Indian government has denied any state-initiated snooping and has called for Apple's cooperation in the investigation.
