The National Commission for Minorities (NCM) has expressed disappointment with the lack of information provided by the 10 states affected by the 1984 anti-Sikh riots in India. The states have failed to provide details on victim compensation, rehabilitation measures, and the status of convictions in the cases registered. The NCM has been sending letters to the chief ministers of these states since October 2021 but has received incomplete responses.
