A Hachiko in Kerala: This dog has been waiting outside mortuary for 4 months

IndiaTimes Saturday, 4 November 2023
A dog has been waiting outside a hospital mortuary in Kerala's Kannur district for nearly four months. The hospital authorities believe that the dog's owner may have died and been taken to the morgue. The dog, named "Ramu" by a doctor who provides him with food, stays near the ramp leading to the mortuary, hoping for his master's return. Despite being offered food, Ramu remains loyal and refuses to leave. A woman has approached the hospital to adopt him.
