Stranded in Israel with son, Nagpur woman asks Indian govt for help

Sivan Jacob Jaiswal, an Indian citizen residing in Israel, is stranded in the war-torn country with her son after being denied evacuation by Indian authorities. Despite being an Overseas Citizen of India, she was unable to board Air India's emergency flights. Sivan's husband, who is in Nagpur, is anxiously waiting for their return. Sivan had traveled to Israel in January to complete passport formalities for her son but got stuck due to the October 7 attack by Hamas. Her husband remains hopeful that they will be able to return soon.
