Geologist murder: She shamed me; job loss ruined my marriage, says arrested ex-driver

The former driver of senior geologist Prathima KS, who has been arrested for her murder, claimed that she humiliated him and ruined his marital life by getting him sacked from his job. The accused, Kiran S, had been working with the department of mines and geology for eight years before being terminated two months ago. He tried to meet Prathima to request his job back but was unable to. Kiran told police that Prathima would humiliate him over trivial matters and that his sacking was one of the reasons for his anger towards her.
