Chit fund case: Jharkhand gets time from high court to challenge order in Supreme Court

The High Court of Jharkhand has given the state government time to challenge its order in the Supreme Court regarding the return of money to investors by chit fund companies. A PIL was filed seeking the High Court's direction to ensure the return of funds. The court had ordered the government to appoint a committee to oversee the procedure for the return of funds. The government intends to challenge this order and the matter will be heard again on December 6.
