Mohammed Deif, the military commander of the Palestinian Hamas resistance group, has reportedly survived an Israeli attempt to assassinate him at the al-Mawasi camp in southern Gaza. A senior Hamas official confirmed Deif's well-being and stated that he is actively overseeing military operations against Israeli forces. The incident occurred during an Israeli military attack on a designated humanitarian safe zone in the same area, resulting in the deaths of at least 90 Palestinians and injuries to 300 others. This attack has been identified as the deadliest in Gaza in recent weeks, escalating tensions in the region.
