Amid threat from expansionist China, India & US to jointly produce Stryker fighting vehicles

India and the US have agreed to counter China's aggressive behavior in the Indo-Pacific region, with a focus on maintaining regional and global security. The two countries have also decided to jointly produce Stryker armored fighting vehicles as part of their expanding defense-industrial collaboration. The defense ministers of both countries emphasized the need to promote a free and open Indo-Pacific and address regional security challenges. Additionally, they discussed bolstering maritime security and interoperability between their militaries.
