Ayodhya dazzles again with mega extravaganza of light

Ayodhya celebrated its seventh Deepotsav festival, lighting over 22.5 lakh diyas on the ghats of the Saryu River. The event entered the Guinness Book of World Records for the largest number of lit diyas. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath performed a symbolic coronation of Lord Ram and expressed his vision of global recognition for Ayodhya. Over 25,000 volunteers participated in lighting the diyas, and the event was attended by envoys from 52 countries. The ceremony to inaugurate the Ram Temple is scheduled for January 22, 2024, with Prime Minister Narendra Modi presiding.
