Average assets of 192 re-contesting MLAs in MP grew by 50%

According to a report by the Association for Democratic Reforms (ADR) and Madhya Pradesh Election Watch, the average assets of sitting MLAs in Madhya Pradesh have increased by nearly 50% to Rs 17.81 crore from Rs 11.91 crore in 2018. The report analyzed the self-sworn affidavits of 192 re-contesting MLAs in the state. It revealed that 94% of the MLAs have experienced an increase in assets, with some witnessing growth of up to 1982%.
