Telangana BSP President RS Praveen Kumar, son booked for attempt to murder

A case of attempt to murder and dacoity has been filed against retired IPS officer and BSP President R.S. Praveen Kumar and his son in Telangana's Komaram Bheem Asifabad district. The case stems from a clash between BSP and BRS workers. Kumar alleges that the case was filed on the instructions of Sirpur MLA candidate Koneru Konappa. Kumar, who is contesting in the upcoming elections, vowed to protect Telangana from the "conspiracy" of the BRS and BJP alliance.
