Former Jammu and Kashmir minister Lal Singh's custody in a money laundering case has been extended by five days by a court. Singh, who was arrested on November 7, is being investigated by the Enforcement Directorate in connection with a case involving an educational trust run by his wife. The court ordered the ED to produce Singh on November 18 and expedite the investigation. The case stems from a charge sheet filed by the CBI in October 2021, alleging criminal connivance in the issuance of land.
