Tamil Nadu governor allows CBI to prosecute 2 ex-mantris

Tamil Nadu governor RN Ravi has granted CBI sanction to prosecute former AIADMK ministers C Vijayabaskar and BV Ramana in the gutka scam. However, the governor has not yet given similar sanction for the prosecution of two other former AIADMK ministers as requested by the DMK government. The state law minister assured that the government would inform the CBI about the governor's sanction. The scam involves allegations of illegal gratification against 2 ministers.
