India welcomes efforts for humanitarian pauses in Israel-Hamas conflict

India has expressed support for humanitarian pauses and efforts to de-escalate the Israel-Hamas conflict, as well as the delivery of urgent humanitarian aid to the people of Palestine. India's Permanent Representative to the UN, Ambassador Ruchira Kamboj, emphasized India's opposition to terrorism and violence, and its commitment to international humanitarian law. Kamboj also highlighted India's support for direct negotiations towards a peaceful and lasting solution to the Israel-Palestine issue.
