First express train flagged off in 112 Years for President Draupadi Murmu's native place
President Draupadi Murmu flagged off three new trains from Badampahar station in Odisha, including an express train for the first time in the region. The trains will improve connectivity for locals traveling to neighboring states and visiting industrial town Rourkela. President Murmu emphasized the importance of connectivity for development and highlighted the government's initiatives for the development of tribal communities. She also virtually inaugurated the new Rairangpur Postal Division and laid the foundation stone for the redevelopment of Badampahar Railway station.
