Eutelsat OneWeb first firm to get IN-SPACe nod for LEO constellation

IN-SPACe has authorized Eutelsat OneWeb's satellite constellation to provide capacity in India. This is a significant milestone as it makes OneWeb India the first company authorized by IN-SPACe to offer Low Earth Orbit (LEO) satellite constellation capacity in the country. OneWeb India aims to provide internet services to rural and unconnected areas of India, as well as its territorial waters. The authorization is valid for five years, subject to obtaining necessary spectrum and regulatory licenses.
