Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot has accused the BJP of being "linked" to the accused in the Kanhaiya Lal killing case and criticized the National Investigation Agency (NIA) for the slow progress of the investigation. Gehlot also dismissed the BJP's allegations regarding a red diary containing details of financial irregularities committed by the Gehlot government as "nonsense". He expressed confidence in the Congress party's prospects in the upcoming state assembly polls and criticized Prime Minister Narendra Modi for attacking him in election rallies.
